EDUCATOR | INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

An Educator/Instructional Designer & eLearning Developer From INDIA.

I grew up in Gujarat, India, in a family of teachers. After my Master's in Biotechnology, I pursued my teaching certification and started working as a K-12 Biology educator in 2013. I enjoyed teaching; in fact, most of my understanding of learning theories developed inside the classroom. Working at school, I mastered the skills of curriculum planning, design, development, and delivery. But it felt like something was missing.

I was always curious about technology and its use in learning; I would always search for newer ways to make my science classes interactive and fun for my learners; it was around this time that I came across Instructional Designing, and it piqued my interest resulting in me quitting my job to pursue Instructional Design full-time.

I now work as an Instruction Designer and e-learning Designer and Developer allowing me to use the best of the available technology to enhance the learning outcomes.

The way I see it, only the setup and the age of my learners have changed, the wanting to help my learners enhance their skills and ability to find genuine solutions to performance issues remains the same.
